Our corporation and this contract will be managed to the ISO standards. As required by ISO 9001:2000, our Quality Management System defines processes and procedures for all aspects of quality management, with the specifics of process implementation based on individual contract requirements. Features of our QMS include:

Corporate commitment to exceed customer requirements customer requirements represent the minimum acceptable level of quality.

Significant involvement by all levels of management, including regular management reviews in which all aspects of the QMS are reviewed for effectiveness.

Development of metrics by which the effectiveness of the QMS can be evaluated.

Continuous effort to improve quality procedures.

Frequent contact with customer personnel to obtain feedback on product quality..

Our QMS requires that every project have a project plan which defines how we will implement our QMS procedures within the requirements of the contract. With this approach, the Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project, including: ensuring that only appropriately qualified personnel are assigned to the project, initial planning, continual monitoring of project implementation, resolution of project-related problems, review of all deliverables to ensure that only high quality products are provide, obtaining frequent customer feedback to ensure customer satisfaction with the products, and continuous application of "lessons learned". This is supplemented by regular project reviews by the Program Manager, and audits by our in-house ISO 9001 audit team. To start this contract, the Jahn Corporation Quality Assurance Manager will serve as QA manager for the contract. He reports directly to the CEO and will consult with the Program Manager on all quality issues relative to the execution of this contract. Several of our team members have their own ISO certification and the resulting standardized control of quality. For other team members, the QA manager will provide guidance and consultation to ensure all team members uphold the ISO standards. When the level of effort on this contract becomes large, we will provide QA managers to specific locations as required.

Quantitative performance of the contract is measured in terms of cost vs. budget, cost to complete, and progress vs. schedule. Jahn Corp's cost accounting, financial reporting, and project management systems provide quantitative data for measuring performance. Management reports generated by the systems are used as tools to measure performance, identify problems and deficiencies, and to forecast future requirements. Our accounting system is approved by the Defense Contract Audit Agency and provides a complete status of the overall contract individual delivery orders, includes funding authorized, accrued expenditures, open commitments, funds remaining and cost to complete. In addition, we utilize other management actions to monitor quantitative data including: our Program Manager's and QA representative's periodic reviews of work in progress that reveal schedule compliance; and biweekly and monthly cost audits by our contract staff to identify cost variances or mistakes which, when found, are reconciled with the Program Manager. Other project management applications are utilized to assist our managers in developing work plans, defining project goals, creating the project schedules, establishing task sequences, defining milestones, assigning resources, calculating projected costs, and generating reports on task/project progress. These include Microsoft Project, Timeline, Sure Trak, MacProject and Primavera Project Planner. These tools assist us in managing multiple projects and/or to relate multiple tasks in an integrated, interrelated, manner if necessary. Our systems, both qualitative and quantitative, provide a proven capability for accurate cost monitoring, timely reporting, and assist in developing and maintaining realistic schedules and ensuring management control.
